overacuppa.com published its first wee blog entry (with the help of and  generosity from her friend VT) way back in the summer of 2003 when, frustrated with the lack of proximal contacts with her far-flung friends and seemingly distant family, tiggie (aka overacuppa) decided that she’ll attempt to reconnect her friends and family by sharing her nomadic life’s anecdotes, ramblings, concoctions of random recipes, and anything she finds cultural and artsy…

tiggie is very fond of her cuppas… they are anything warm, hearty, cosy, and calming that would fit in a wee mug. those who know her well would often find her nursing her cuppas indoors during the thick frozen winter, absent-mindedly misplacing it in the heat of summer, but always having one near by whatever it is she might be distracting or busying herself. it is with this in mind that she thought she might enjoy sharing her fossicked gems and muses over a cuppa. and she has, on occasions, imagined that her readers might take to reading her anecdotes over a cuppa, too!

since the beginning of her cyber adventures, tiggie has either bored visitors (without any intention to) or continued to entertain a small but interested array of readers with her tales. she has recently moved this wee blog to WordPress.com and the transition and ‘makeover’ will keep her out of other kinds of mischief for the time-being.

the various typos, missing links, and odd paragraphing that exist in numerous imported entries will be fixed in due course… please be patient!
